MORGANTOWN, W.Va. — Over 600 experts, students, and industry leaders gathered Wednesday at the Morgantown Event Center for West Virginia University’s inaugural Mountain State Cyber Summit, a daylong event focused on strengthening cybersecurity, advancing research in artificial intelligence, and preparing the next generation of digital defenders.
Hosted by WVU Cyber — the university’s newly announced hub for cybersecurity research, education, and partnership — the summit brought together more than 600 attendees from federal and state agencies, private industry, and higher education.
