DOWNTOWN LOS ANGELES (KABC) -- Two suspects were taken into custody hours after police swarmed an apartment building in downtown Los Angeles following reports of a shooting Wednesday morning.
Officers around 5:30 a.m. responded to a report of shots fired at the Broadway Palace Apartments at 9th Street and Broadway, according to the Los Angeles Police Department.
The department quickly confirmed that it was not an active shooter situation.
AIR7 was overhead where several patrol vehicles could be seen stationed around the building, which could be as tall as 10 stories.
