A man has been rushed to hospital after being hit by a bus in Glasgow .
Emergency services were called to Cathedral Street, near the University of Strathclyde library in the city centre, at around 1.40pm on Wednesday, November 12.
Ambulance crews attended and the male pedestrian was rushed to hospital for treatment. His condition currently remains unknown.
Images taken from the scene show a Stagecoach single decker bus stationary within a police cordon.
The windscreen of the vehicle is completely shattered with "a large dent" seen on the glass.
