Taua Puloka made it official on Wednesday, signing to play basketball for the Nevada women's team.
Puloka, a 5-foot-9 combo guard, was the only player Nevada coach Amanda Levens signed on Wednesday.
Puloka began her high school career at Bishop Manogue High School, helping lead the Miners to a Nevada 4A state championship in 2024.
For her junior season, Puloka transferred to Reed and was named the Nevada State 4A player of the year, averaging 20.8 points per game, 5.1 rebounds, 2.3 assists, and 2.7 steals per game. She was also named the 2024 and 2025 Northern Nevada Player of the Year.
She played club basketball for Jam On It and Just Believe Sports (JBS).
Puloka also played for Tonga on the national team, playing in the Pacific Games and averaging 15.8 points per game. She was the
