ROCKFORD, Ill. — A local hockey team is showing its appreciation to fans at an upcoming home game.

On Sunday, the Rockford IceHogs will host Postgame Skate with the Hogs after their game against the Texas Stars. Fans are invited to join the IceHogs on the ice to skate with them, take photos, and get autographs.

Skates are required to take part in the postgame activity.

The IceHogs host the Stars on Nov. 16 at 4 p.m. at the BMO Center.

Tickets for the event are on sale on Ticketmaster .
