WARWICK, R.I. (WLNE) — The Rhode Island Airport Corporation said that one employee was terminated and two others were put on administrative leave after an investigation into “ serious allegations of misconduct” within its Airfield Maintenance Department.
The corporation said that several employees reported a “hostile conditions” over several months, including threatening and sexually explicit conduct, racial and ethnic slurs, and demeaning comments.
The Airfield Maintenance Department consists of technicians, supervisors, and managers.
RIAC also said that the investigation was ongoing and was being led by Senior Vice President Jessica Damicis.
