SCOTTSVILLE, Ky. – A Scottsville woman is back behind bars for the second time within two weeks following a drug investigation.

The Scottsville Police Department says on Wednesday just after 9 a.m., Scottsville officers, the South Central Kentucky Drug Task Force and the Kentucky State Police served a search warrant at a home at 407 N. Third St.

Authorities say through an investigation, they found a large amount of marijuana, methamphetamine, firearms and other items consistent with drug trafficking.

Barton was arrested and lodged in the Allen County Detention Center.

She faces charges of trafficking in marijuana, first offense (enhancement), first-degree possession of controlled substance, first offense (drug unspecified)(enhancement), first-degree possession of a controlled substance
