Purdue basketball has a three-person recruiting class featuring a pair of top-60 players who signed Wednesday, the start of the early signing period.

The Boilermakers are losing a core four of starters who will exhaust their eligibility at season's end. Matt Painter has a larger class for the 2026 cycle due to the available roster spots expected.

Three players with different skill sets signed to join Painter's top-flight program. Included in the recruiting class are Mt. Vernon guard Luke Ertel and the La Lumiere tandem of wing Jacob Webber and power forward Rivers Knight. The class is by no means finished, though, and it is far too early to tell how the transfer portal may change things come April.
