21-year-old dies after motorcycle crashes into SUV

RICHMOND, Va. (WWBT) - A 21-year-old Chesterfield motorcyclist died in a crash Tuesday afternoon, Richmond Police say.

On Nov. 11 around 4 p.m., officers were called to the intersection of South Belvidere and Spring streets for a reported collision between a motorcycle and an SUV.

The rider of the motorcycle, Alexander Norton, 21, of North Chesterfield, was taken to the hospital where he later died.

The adult male driver of the SUV was not injured and remained at the scene.

The Office of the Medical Examiner will determine the cause and manner of death.

Members of the RPD Crash Team responded to the scene and are investigating.
