LAWRENCE, Kan. (KCTV) - Bill Self has inked another five-star player to a future in Lawrence.
On Wednesday, the Jayhawks celebrated National Signing Day by announcing that five-star point guard Taylen Kinney had put pen to paper on his National Letter of Intent to attend Kansas.
Kinney, a consensus five-star recruit and the 16th overall player in 24/7 Sports’ Composite Rankings for the Class of 2026, is playing for RWE in the Overtime Elite this season. That’s a familiar pathway recently for the Jayhawks to find young player.
Freshman guards Kohl Rosario and Samis Calderon, as well as forward Bryson Tiller, each have played in the Overtime Elite program before joining KU.
