LANE COUNTY, Ore. - The Lane County Sheriff's Office is urging residents to prioritize safety on the roads in light of multiple recent arrests for alleged impaired driving.

Deputies recently arrested several individuals for driving under the influence of intoxicants (DUII). On Nov. 4, 23-year-old Hipolito Thomas Hernandes, was arrested after a deputy observed his vehicle failing to maintain its lane in Creswell, sheriff's officials said.

LCSO said that, in another incident, 50-year-old Juan Ramon Lopez Brieno was arrested on Nov. 5 in downtown Eugene for DUII after being stopped for a switched license plate.

On Nov. 6, Zachariah Devonn Kintzley, 32, was taken into custody for DUII in Creswell after speeding more than twice the limit through a 25 mile-per-hour zone, authorities said.
