FOXBOROUGH – Rob Gronkowski knows what it takes for a team to make a Super Bowl run.
The future Hall of Famer is a four-time Super Bowl champion. He won three championships in New England and played in six total Super Bowls in his 11-year NFL career. On Wednesday, the tight end said he sees similarities with this year’s Patriots team with past championship teams he’s been a part of.
Gronkowski, who signed a 1-day contract with the Patriots to retire with the organization, said when his Patriots teams were winning, they were a close group who were unselfish on offense.
The former tight end said he sees the same with Mike Vrabel’s squad and the team’s pass catchers.
