COLUMBUS, Ohio — The murder trial of Blendon Township police officer Connor Grubb is underway in Columbus.
Grubb faces charges of murder, involuntary manslaughter and felonious assault in the shooting death of Ta’Kiya Young.
Prosecutors say they have nearly 80 potential witnesses, but are not expected to call all of them to testify.
Grubb fatally shot Young, who was six months pregnant, in a Kroger parking lot in Blendon Township in August 2023.
