Ron Simmons and Ahmed Johnson have had well-documented issues in the past, but Simmons confirmed on The Wrestling Classic podcast that the two have buried the hatchet.
Host Justin Dhillon brought up a recent photograph of the two former rivals together. “I saw a picture of you and Ahmed Johnson, have you guys made amends? Is everything good now, from all the things,” Dhillon asked.
“Man, look, there are differences that we’ve had, which happens in this business, right?” Simmons responded. “Look, it’s been time to set that stuff aside and let it go.”
Simmons cited the unfortunate reality of losing so many peers in the wrestling business as a primary motivator for making peace.
