SUMTER COUNTY, S.C. — The Sumter School District has officially launched its search for a new superintendent and is inviting input from the community, staff, and students to help shape the selection process.

Officials say consultants from BWP & Associates will lead a series of public forums on Wednesday, November 19, at 6 p.m. at three district high schools: Crestwood High, Lakewood High, and Sumter High. Those unable to attend in person can share feedback through an online survey available on the district’s website beginning November 17.
