Measles continues to spread in Spartanburg County.
The South Carolina Department of Public Health reported on Nov. 12 that eight new cases have been identified in the county since Friday, Nov. 7.
Of the eight new cases, six were within a group of people who had already been exposed to the virus and were quarantined. In fact, all six were in the same household, said state epidemiologist Linda Bell in a Nov. 12 media briefing.
