George Clooney said he’d love to team up with fellow “ ER ” alum Noah Wyle on medical drama “ The Pitt ,” adding that he’d jump at the chance “in a heartbeat.”

When asked whether he’d like to “get back in the E.R,” the Oscar winner expressed his interest in joining the series led by Wyle.

“I haven’t talked to him about being on the show because it is his show,” Clooney told Entertainment Tonight at the “Jay Kelly” premiere. “I don’t want to interrupt. But I am deeply proud of him, if I’m allowed to be proud of him.”

He continued, “Because what a beautiful show it is and what a great success it has been. And what a fun thing to have him continuing on in the tradition.”
