Under new USDA guidelines, Ohioans on SNAP will see a 35% reduction in their benefits this month.
The amount received will depend on factors like income as well as housing and medical costs.
The Ohio Department of Jobs and Family Services, $66.8 million in partial SNAP benefits have been processed for about 364,000 Ohio households, which ODJFS says is just over half of the 716,000 households that are set to receive SNAP benefits for the month of November.
Officials say benefits will be issued in batches, with all eligible for benefits set to receive them in the new few days.
