TUCSON, Ariz. (13 News) - Three people were arrested at the 100-Acre Wood Bike Park in Tucson following a months-long drug investigation.
Arizona DPS confirmed the arrests happened at the park on Wednesday, Nov. 12.
DPS said troopers served a warrant in the area in connection with an investigation that started outside of the Tucson city limits. The Tucson Police Department was also on scene, but only to assist DPS.
Davis-Monthan Air Force Base closed its Swan Gate to traffic for several hours on Wednesday, likely due to the police activity in the area.
The park has been a homeless and trouble hotspot for years.
In May 2024, the city of Tucson started clearing the park out after offering outreach for the homeless for two years. That move was to allow Davis-Monthan Air Force B
