VERONA, Wis. (WMTV) - A new community center is opening in the former Verona Public Library building, city officials announced on Wednesday.

Located at 130 N. Franklin Street, the new space will offer room rentals, recreation programming space and will be the home of the Park and Recreation Departments.

“As Verona grows, it’s critical that we continue to build and support community spaces,” Verona Mayor Luke Diaz said. “The Verona Community Center fills the need for community spaces by offering programming and discounted room rentals for Verona residents.”

With rental and programming spaces now available, the Recreation Department is launching Verona Rec Afterschool.
