Anthony Davis and the Dallas Mavericks have gotten off to a rough start to the 2025-26 NBA season. Recently, the team made the decision to fire general manager Nico Harrison, who has been on the hot seat with the franchise since he made the blockbuster trade to send Luka Doncic to the Los Angeles Lakers with Davis being the main centerpiece of the return.

Since joining the Mavericks, Davis has dealt with multiple injury issues. He has played in just five of the team's 11 games so far this season.

With that in mind, some rumblings have started coming up about Davis' future in Dallas. Could the Mavericks actually consider trading him before the upcoming deadline?
