A potential surprise return could be in store for tonight’s special AEW Dynamite: Blood & Guts event. Speaking on today’s Wrestling Observer Live , Bryan Alvarez shared speculation he had heard regarding the show.

“I do think there’s a chance we’re gonna see a surprise return on AEW tonight,” Alvarez said. “I don’t know this really at all. But I heard something over the weekend where I think it’s possible”.

Alvarez was quick to manage expectations, clarifying two names that he was not referring to. He stated that he is not talking about Chris Jericho or Britt Baker, both of whom have been absent from AEW television for many months.
