Adele is saying ‘hello’ to the big screen.

The singer-songwriter will be making her acting debut in Tom Ford’s new film "Cry to Heaven." Deadline was the first media outlet to confirm the news.

According to Deadline, the screenplay has been written by Ford, who is also directing and producing through his Fade To Black production company.

Set in 18th century Italy, the fictional story follows two men, a Venetian noble and an Opera singer, whose lives become unexpectedly intertwined.
