HILLSBORO, N.D. — The North Dakota Highway Patrol has released the name of a Hillsboro man who was killed in a rollover crash Sunday, Nov. 9.
The crash occurred at 6:26 p.m. north of Hillsboro. A 2005 Chevrolet Silverado driven by Rollin Eberhardt, 66, was traveling east on Traill County Road 13 near the 16300 block when it ran off the road and rolled.
Eberhardt, who was not wearing a seat belt, was taken to Hillsboro, where he died before he was to be flown to Fargo for further treatment, the Highway Patrol said in a news release.
The Highway Patrol is continuing to investigate the crash, the release said. The Traill County Sheriff's Office, Hillsboro Fire Department, Hillsboro Ambulance and Sanford Air Med also responded to the crash.
Hillsboro is roughly 42 miles north of Fargo.
