UPPER ARLINGTON, Ohio — The Trump Administration is considering placing tariffs on imported Italian pasta brands, which could lead to higher prices at the grocery store for pasta lovers.

The 107% tariffs are for 13 Italian pasta makers, the most known being Barilla. The U.S. government is accusing the companies of dumping cheap products into the United States and undercutting American-made pastas. The U.S. Commerce Department telling CBS News the proposed tariffs are a 92% anti-dumping import tax on top of the 15% tariff on goods from the European Union.
