Frank Fucetola is out as head football coach at Williamstown High School, according to an official at the school.
The official wouldn’t comment further on the situation. A message left with Fucetola wasn’t returned.
The search for a new head coach began this week.
Fucetola led Williamstown football program for 26 seasons over two different stints. He guided the Braves during their golden era which including two sectional championships (2018 and 2019) and a regional title (2019). The program also went undefeated (12-0) en route to a sectional title in 2012 under Fucetola.
After stepping down for personal reasons following the 2019 season, Fucetola returned to the helm five years later,. He led the Braves the last two seasons with the team going 5-15 over that span, including this year’s
