SAVANNAH, Ga. (WTOC) - The Savannah Police Department (SPD) is investigating a shooting in the 1000 block of Rogers St. that left one woman injured.

Officers say they responded to the scene at approximately 3:00 p.m. based on ShotSpotter reports and discovered the victim with a gunshot wound to the wrist.

The initial investigation determined that two groups were shooting at each other and the victim was an unintended target. She was taken by EMS to a local hospital for treatment.

Reports currently show that her injuries are non-life threatening.

No arrests have been made.

The investigation is ongoing.
