KANSAS CITY, Mo. (KCTV) - As the Kansas City Chiefs prepare for a critical game in the AFC West race, they’ll do so with all but one player returning to the practice field following the bye week.
Head coach Andy Reid said Wednesday that starting running back Isiah Pacheco would not practice during the team’s first day back following the Week 10 bye. Pacheco suffered an MCL sprain in the fourth quarter of a Week 8 win over the Washington Commanders.
He did not play when the Chiefs went to Buffalo and lost 28-21 to the Bills in Week 9.
The remainder of the Chiefs roster will practice Wednesday, including first-round rookie left tackle Josh Simmons, who has missed the last four games due to a personal matter.
Pacheco has 78 carries for 329 yards and a touchdown this season. In his absence
