LEXINGTON, Ky. (WKYT) - A central Kentucky 4-month-old is among 15 infants nationwide who have received treatment for infant botulism linked to a recalled formula brand.
Piper Everett spent five days at UK Hospital after consuming ByHeart Whole Nutrition infant formula, which has been recalled due to an outbreak of infant botulism.

Piper’s mother, Hanna Everett, said her daughter started acting strange on Saturday. She was constipated, not eating, and overall seemed sick.
“30 minutes later, I had a friend send me that recall, and I was like, ‘Oh my god,’” Hanna Everett said.
