UPDATE at 6:25 p.m. Thursday: The boil water advisory has been repealed. Pioneer Rural Water District customers no longer need to vigorously boil their water prior to drinking or cooking.

A boil water advisory has been issued for some residents in Townville, South Carolina, on Wednesday.
Pioneer Rural Water District advises the residents of Lakeview Drive, Robinhood Drive and Sky Lane in Anderson County to vigorously boil their water for at least one full minute before using the water to drink or cook.
Pioneer will lift the Boil Water Advisory once the laboratory has confirmed safe water through a bacteriological analysis report.
Officials said any ice made from water that has not been boiled should not be used for drinking purposes.
