The annual Joe Salem Thanksgiving meal returns to Corpus Christi for its 82nd year starting at noon on Nov. 27.

Originally a sit-down event at the Sokol Corpus Christi Gym, the tradition has become a "drive-up distribution" in recent years, allowing guests to remain in their vehicles as volunteers distribute a dinner to them.
