SCIOTO COUNTY, Ohio (WSAZ) - More than 100 slot machines were seized by the Southern Ohio Organized & Major Crimes Task Force in parts of Scioto and Lawrence counties.
Along with the machines, more than $200,000 was recovered.
It is all part of a year-long investigation, leading to raids of three gaming establishments.
The establishments were the Lucky Dog 7 in South Point, Three Kings in New Boston, and Three Aces in Portsmouth.
“If we have any type of illegal activity, whether it be gambling, drugs, or whatever, we will go after it,” Scioto County Sheriff David Thoroughman said. ”And these facilities, they prey upon those that have addictions.”
