Police are investigating a shooting at Skyline High School in Oakland.

A police source told NBC Bay Area a juvenile was shot Tuesday on campus and was transported to a hospital. A second juvenile was detained and a gun was recovered, according to the police source.

An Oakland Unified School District board member said the shooting occurred inside a campus bathroom.

No other information was immediately available.
