BALTIMORE —

WBAL-TV 11 News takes you behind the scenes at some of the most iconic costumes and the famous chandelier from " The Phantom of the Opera ."

The beloved show returns to stages across America, launching its North American tour at the Hippodrome in Baltimore, where it will run through Nov. 15.

The costumes and set design are as much stars of the show as the actors, including the Phantom's famous cape and the chandelier.

"She has as much choreography as some of our ensemble numbers. She weighs more than 1 ton," Jovon Shuck, the show's production stage manager, said of the chandelier. "She is one of the stars of our show. She is maybe one of the most iconic pieces of theatrical scenery in the world."
