HONOLULU (HawaiiNewsNow) - A new Korean convenience store held its grand opening Tuesday in downtown Honolulu.
CU Hawaii, Asia’s biggest convenience store chain, opened its first location in the U.S. at the Executive Centre at Bishop and Hotel Streets.
The new store is open from 6 a.m. to 11 p.m.
CU Hawaii offers a mix of Korean convenience items and local flavors.
Products include Island Vintage Coffee items and creations by Chef Sheldon Simeon, a locally born chef.
Exclusive products and viral drinks
The store offers PBick, an exclusive brand available only at CU locations.
The brand features items like churros with chocolate-dipped cookies, which are not available anywhere else in the state.
