YAKIMA, Wash. – Yakima Police and Fire responded to a hit-and-run crash involving two teenage pedestrians on November 11 near S Fair Ave and E Spruce St.

The two teenagers were crossing S Fair Ave when they were hit by an SUV traveling southbound. After briefly speaking with the teens, the driver fled the scene, heading south on S Fair Ave, Yakima Police said in a release .

Investigators said witnesses provided assistance to the injured teens and captured a photograph of the fleeing vehicle. Both teens were taken to Multi-Care Memorial Hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.

Yakima Police are currently searching for the driver, a 62-year-old man from Yakima, who faces felony hit-and-run charges.
