Casey Gould's heart stopped right after giving birth, and she recently reunited with the medical care team at Atrium Medical Center that saved her life, accompanied by her 1-year-old son, Archer. The last time Casey and Archer were at the hospital, she had flatlined.

Casey never saw the faces working to bring her back, but on Wednesday, she gets to thank them. Advertisement

"We talk about you every single day. We talk about our nurses every single day," Gould said.

Dr. Amer Sayed explained that Gould had a rare condition called postpartum cardiomyopathy, noting that even with the best care, more than half of patients don't survive.
