It seems like whenever you ask North Bay Battalion coach Ryan Oulahen about Camryn Warren he smiles.
Last week the Battalion’s 2025 first round draft pick made plenty of people smile as he was a member of Team Canada Red that took gold at the 2025 U17 World Challenge in Nova Scotia last week.
The 16-year-old centre, who was tied for the team lead in points when he left for the tournament is back this week and Oulahen knows this player will help the Battalion in multiple ways.
“We are thrilled (he’s back) as he will help the power play. You see what he did at the u-17’s, I mean, he’s world class.
We are not shocked that he comes back with a gold medal because he’s just a winner, and Cam played extremely well,” says Oulahen.
