WASHINGTON, D.C. – The White House press secretary, Caroline Leavitt, announced that the October Consumer Price Index Report will likely not be released due to the government shutdown.
The Bureau of Labor and Statistics and other key groups have stopped producing and publishing economic data during this period.
This data disruption occurs as the Federal Reserve remains divided on whether to cut key interest rates at its meeting in December.
