MOUNT HOREB, Wis. — A proposed multi-unit housing development in downtown Mount Horeb has divided the community, with residents expressing strong opposition to the project planned for the 200 block of East Main Street.

The development has generated widespread concern among local residents who worry about increased traffic congestion, inadequate parking, and potential conflicts with the historic character of downtown Mount Horeb. The opposition has coalesced into a village-wide campaign called "It's Too Big," with supportive signs visible in yards and businesses throughout the community.
