BATON ROUGE, La. (WAFB) - The owner of an ATM business alleges his most trusted employee stole $140,000 from machines across gas stations in Baton Rouge and other cities.

Kamal Khadka, who owns AAA Outsourcing, filed a report with the East Baton Rouge Sheriff’s Office after discovering funds were decreasing in an account used to stock the ATMs. He later found nine of his machines were empty.

The company operates numerous ATMs and earns money from transaction fees. At least one employee manages the machines in Baton Rouge.

“He’s been working with me for more than 15-16 years. I trusted him more than myself,” Khadka said when asked about the relationship he has with the employee he alleges committed the crime.
