FX has canceled “ English Teacher ” after two seasons, Variety has confirmed.

The comedy series was created by Brian Jordan Alvarez , who starred as Evan Marquez, a high school English teacher in Austin that navigates several personal and political scandals at work. The cast also included Stephanie Koenig, Sean Patton, Carmen Christopher, Enrico Colantoni and Jordan Firstman.

FX had no comment.

“English Teacher” premiered in September 2024, with Season 2 following in September of this year. While Season 1 followed a week-to-week model for new episodes, FX opted for a binge release on Season 2, debuting all 10 episodes at once.
