In a post on Facebook , Lynnwood PD announced officers found a puppy in a dumpster covered in debris.
They rescued him and named him Oscar.
Members of Lynnwood PD are fostering the puppy for now.
“If you have information on who abandoned him, we want to know,” the post said. “Abandoning animals isn’t just wrong, it’s illegal.”
