ATLANTA, Ga. (Atlanta News First) - The Tucker City Council is considering possible changes to parking in downtown.

Councilmembers discussed a proposal for time limited spots that would apply to the 70 parking spots on Main Street from Lawrenceville Highway to Lavista Road. If approved, the ordinance would require a $75 fine for any car parked for more than four hours.

Tucker residents like Jeff said parking is a problem at times, therefore, he thinks it is a good idea if the city decides to implement time limited parking.

“I think four hours is plenty enough time for someone to have lunch,” he said.
