SPOKANE, Wash. – The Together Spokane initiative, which recently passed a bond levy, is set to support the city’s parks department in collaboration with Spokane Public Schools. A press conference was held at Adams Elementary, where city officials and district leaders expressed gratitude to the community for their support.
The initiative’s first project involves the demolition and reconstruction of Adams Elementary. Superintendent Adam Swinyard shared details about the planning process.
“Over the next 30 to 60 days, we’ll be refining the timeline and making sure that we have numerous opportunities to provide progress reports to the community and share updates on how things are moving forward. But we’re really excited to get started,” said Swinyard.
Transparency in spending was emphasized
