GRAND HAVEN, MI -- If the holiday season has you dreaming of Whoville wholesome cheer then take a trip to the lakeshore this December for the Jingle Bell Parade.
The annual holiday parade returns to downtown Grand Haven on 6 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 6.
The parade will have more than 80 sparkling, holiday-themed floats and local marching bands all leading the processional ahead of Santa and Mrs. Claus.
The festivities will begin on Franklin Street, traveling west to Harbor Drive, heading north along Harbor, and turning east onto Washington Avenue, concluding at Central Park.
Santa and Mrs. Claus will lead community caroling and commence the tree-lighting ceremony at Central Park.
The Salvation Army will be serving hot chocolate, and local businesses will hand out candy to the crowd.
