Aberglasslyn resident Josie McIntosh leads a demanding double life, balancing a four-year degree in Nuclear Medicine with a lifelong passion for the stage.
Her two worlds recently collided in spectacular fashion when she was cast as a core dancer in Mamma Mia! The Musical.
"I remember dancing in my living room at home when I was about three to the Mamma Mia movie," Josie told The Maitland Mercury.
" It's been part of my life for a long time."
Performing at the Civic Theatre in Newcastle was everything Josie had imagined.
"It has a special place in my heart now," she said.
Josie's dedication to dance spans over 16 years at Rutherford's Galaxy Talent Academy.
