MORE flights will take off from Williamtown to Bali, with the Hunter's first permanent international service's frequency increasing just weeks after its launch.

Jetstar confirmed a fourth weekly flight will take off from Newcastle Airport to Denpasar from March next year, a vote of confidence for the fledgling international route.

Once that additional service is on the departure board, flights will leave Port Stephens on Tuesday, Wednesday, Friday, and Sunday.

The extra weekly flight adds an extra 24,000 seats bound from the region to the Indonesian island annually.

Jetstar also confirmed it will allow Hunter passengers to travel to Singapore aboard those flights, continuing on from Bali aboard the same aircraft after a 90-minute stopover.
