3St. Mary’s County woman hits $50K jackpot on Break the Bank scratch-off
CHARLOTTE HALL, MD — A longtime Maryland Lottery player from St. Mary’s County just scored her biggest win yet, claiming a $50,000 top prize on a $5 Break the Bank scratch-off ticket purchased at a local Weis Market.
The woman, who has been playing the Lottery for more than two decades, visited Maryland Lottery headquarters on November 10 to officially claim her prize. Her previous largest win was $1,000.
The winning ticket was bought at Weis Market, located at 30015 Three Notch Road in Charlotte Hall. The retailer will receive a $500 bonus for selling the top-prize ticket.
