An earthquake of magnitude 4.6 struck Afghanistan in the early hours of Thursday as reported by the National Center for Seismology (NCS). In a post on X, the NCS said that the earthquake occurred at 02:20 AM IST (Indian Standard Time).

Earlier on November 8, an earthquake of magnitude 4.4 struck Afghanistan.
